Repair and, if necessary, replace the insulation and body sheets of the ‘BALLOON DUCT, DUST CHAMBER, GCT’ of converter furnaces such as the construction and replacement of the basic GCT of various sections of inspection hatches and guide vanes, and repair and, if necessary, replace the gutters and eaves of the roof of various areas of the Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex Smelting Plant.

• Dismantling, transporting and unloading all insulation, covering sheets and damaged parts of the equipment to the employer’s warehouse in compliance with safety standards.
• Cleaning the internal coating of equipment including GCT, TOP GCT and Dust Chamber.
• Dismantling the guide vanes inside the Top GCT and manufacturing and installing new guide vanes.
• Replacing all bolted connections in Top GCT with fireproof thread to improve performance and proper sealing.
• Fixing leaking inspection hatches by repairing or replacing them, along with implementing fireproof thread to ensure sealing.
• Repairing damaged parts of the equipment body to increase the durability and performance of the structures.
• Substructure and strapping of ducts for insulation and coating in TOP GCT and Dust Chamber.
• Installing ceramic wool and rock wool along with appropriate straps and netting in TOP GCT to improve thermal insulation.
• Installation of aluminum cover along with all ancillary equipment in TOP GCT, Dust Chamber, GCT and Balloon Duct.
• Dismantling old gutters and downspouts and replacing them with new parts if necessary.
• Sandblasting and painting all metal structures, equipment, and supports to protect against corrosion and increase durability.
• New chassis design and modification of old supports to provide the necessary strength for equipment and coatings.
• Dismantling old pipes and gutters, welding and installing new pipes and gutters along with all related accessories.

Insulation:

• Scaffolding and creating the necessary protections for safe access to ducts and carrying out the required activities.
• Complete separation and removal of sheet metal covering and rock wool insulation from ducts in preparation for new insulation.
• Removing and grinding the pins holding the old insulation from the metal surface of the ducts.
• Repair and replace inspection hatches to improve equipment performance and safety.
• Replacing damaged parts of the duct body and renovating worn parts.
• Surface preparation for insulation and coating using stainless steel in the required areas and carbon steel in the relevant areas.
• Implementing a chassis for installing cover sheets using stainless steel or carbon steel straps, appropriate to the material of the duct body.
• Implementing ceramic wool and rock wool insulation in OP GCT to improve thermal efficiency and prevent energy loss.
